المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل المشكلات التي تواجه معلمي التربية الرياضية (الذكور) في تدريس درس التربية البدنية في المدارس الثانوية بمحافظة واسط، في ظل التحديات التربوية والبيئية المعاصرة، وتنطلق الدراسة من خلفية تؤكد أهمية التربية البدنية في تعزيز الصحة الجسدية والنفسية للطلاب، مقابل واقع يعاني من ضعف في التطبيق، إذ تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في وجود معوقات مادية ومنهجية وإدارية واجتماعية تحد من فاعلية التدريس، واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، باستخدام استبانة طُبقت على عينة مكونة من (50) معلما، تكمن أهمية الدراسة في تسليط الضوء على واقع ميداني محلي يعاني من الإهمال، وتقديم بيانات تساعد صناع القرار على تحسين البيئة التعليمية، وهدفت إلى تحديد أبرز المشكلات وتحليل تأثيرها على أداء المعلم ومشاركة الطلاب، وأظهرت النتائج أن أبرز التحديات تمثلت في ضعف البنية التحتية، نقص الأدوات، غياب الدعم الإداري، انخفاض دافعية الطلاب، إضافة إلى الإرهاق المهني للمعلم، كما كشفت عن فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تبعا للخبرة والمؤهل العلمي.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the challenges facing male physical education teachers in teaching physical education classes in secondary schools in Wasit Governorate, within the context of contemporary educational and environmental constraints. The study is grounded in the recognition of the importance of physical education in promoting students’ physical and psychological well-being, contrasted with a reality marked by weak implementation. The research problem lies in the presence of material, methodological, administrative, and social obstacles that limit the effectiveness of teaching. The study adopted a descriptive survey method, utilizing a questionnaire administered to a sample of (50) teachers. The significance of the study stems from highlighting a neglected local educational context and providing empirical data to support decision-makers in improving the educational environment. It also aims to identify the main challenges and analyze their impact on teacher performance and student participation. The findings revealed that the most prominent challenges include poor infrastructure, lack of equipment, insufficient administrative support, low student motivation, and teacher burnout. Additionally, statistically significant differences were found based on years of experience and academic qualification.
