Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using digital games in mathematics achievement among second-grade students in the Shaghour Region and their motivation toward learning from teachers’ perspectives. The study employed the descriptive-correlational approach. The study population consisted of 30 teachers, including 8 male teachers and 22 female teachers, and the comprehensive census method was used. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 30 items distributed across three dimensions: the degree of digital game use, perceived effectiveness in mathematics achievement, and perceived effectiveness in learning motivation. The validity and reliability of the instrument were examined through content validity, construct validity, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The results showed that the degree of digital game use was high, with a mean score of 3.78. The perceived effectiveness of digital games in mathematics achievement was also high, with a mean score of 4.02, while their perceived effectiveness in enhancing learning motivation was high, with a mean score of 4.13. The findings also revealed statistically significant positive correlations between digital game use and perceived mathematics achievement (r = 0.68), as well as between digital game use and perceived learning motivation (r = 0.72). Based on these findings, the study recommended promoting the educational use of digital games in mathematics instruction, providing teachers with appropriate training and technical support, and selecting games that align with instructional objectives and students’ characteristics.
