Children's Anxiety Scale (SCAS) and verify Its psychometric properties (validity and reliability) among a sample of middle school students in Yafa an-Naseriyye. The study problem stems from the acute shortage of locally standardized psychological assessment tools for anxiety detection in this specific educational environment. The study sample consisted of (35) students, selected purposively after the cultural and linguistic adaptation of the scale. The study used the descriptive analytical method. To verify content validity, the scale was presented to (10) specialist arbitrators, with an agreement rate of (88%). To measure construct validity, Pearson correlation coefficients were calculated between each item and its dimension and the total scale, all of which were statistically significant at the (0.01) level, indicating excellent internal consistency. The results also showed high reliability coefficients using Cronbach's alpha (0.94 for the total scale), split-half (0.81), and Spearman-Brown (0.90), consistent with recent international and Arabic studies.
