This study examines the symbolism of color in modern Egyptian poetry as an active aesthetic and semantic component in shaping poetic imagery and constructing symbolic meaning. It aims to identify the most prominent color patterns in poetic texts, analyze the artistic mechanisms of their employment, and explore their psychological and symbolic dimensions within various political, social, and human contexts. The research adopts the descriptive-analytical method through the examination of selected poetic models by a number of Egyptian poets, drawing upon contextual and correspondence theories to interpret chromatic significance within the textual structure.\r\nThe findings reveal that color constitutes a structural element in modern Egyptian poetry. Black is associated with sorrow and despair; white with purity and innocence; red with revolution, blood, and anger; green with life, growth, and hope; and blue with serenity and clarity. Some poets also employ composite \u201ccolor palettes\u201d to express complex psychological states and artistic visions based on condensation and synthesis.
