direction:ltr;'><strong>Abstract: <\/strong> THIS research seeks to dig into the great features of the educational thought of Hafiz al-Maghrib, Imam Ibn Abd al-Bar al-Andalusi al-Maliki, who died in the year 463 AH, and to unveil the life and heritage of this glorious scientist. Alongside, it enables us to learn about the most prominent pedagogical principles of his book \"The Collector of Science and Its Virtue and What Should Be Told and Carried\". Included in this are the desire to share knowledge, be kind to learners, have mercy on them, demonstrate the morals and ethics of science and education, account for learner differences, use educational dialogue, suspense, and gradualism techniques, diversify the scientific material presented to them, and encourage them to seek out information from a variety of sources. Also, it aims at demonstrating the impact of these principles on the achievement of the purpose of functionality in education, and see how they can be used to improve and upgrade the teaching of Islamic sciences.
