direction:ltr;'><strong>Abstract: <\/strong> This study analyzes the role of social and economic safety nets in enhancing community stability by examining their contribution to reducing poverty and economic vulnerability\u060c narrowing inequalities\u060c and strengthening social cohesion and resilience in times of crisis. It adopts a descriptive analytical approach based on a review of the literature on social protection and an analysis of the mechanisms through which it affects individuals and communities. The study examines several forms of safety nets\u060c including cash and in-kind transfers\u060c social insurance\u060c employment programs\u060c and economic empowerment initiatives. The analysis concludes that these measures help provide households with a basic level of economic security\u060c protect spending on education\u060c health\u060c and nutrition\u060c and mitigate the effects of economic and social shocks. Their contribution to stability depends on the breadth of coverage\u060c fair targeting\u060c administrative efficiency\u060c transparent distribution of benefits\u060c and sustainable funding. Weaknesses in these areas may reduce program effectiveness and deepen feelings of exclusion.
