physical education classes in secondary schools in Wasit Governorate, within the context of contemporary educational and environmental constraints. The study is grounded in the recognition of the importance of physical education in promoting students\u2019 physical and psychological well-being, contrasted with a reality marked by weak implementation. The research problem lies in the presence of material, methodological, administrative, and social obstacles that limit the effectiveness of teaching. The study adopted a descriptive survey method, utilizing a questionnaire administered to a sample of (50) teachers. The significance of the study stems from highlighting a neglected local educational context and providing empirical data to support decision-makers in improving the educational environment. It also aims to identify the main challenges and analyze their impact on teacher performance and student participation. The findings revealed that the most prominent challenges include poor infrastructure, lack of equipment, insufficient administrative support, low student motivation, and teacher burnout.
