style='text-align:justify; direction:ltr;'><strong>Abstract: <\/strong> The current research aims to identify the level of preparatory resilience among university students, as it is considered one of the positive psychological variables that helps individuals confront pressures and challenges and adapt to difficult life situations. The researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical approach. The research population consisted of students from University of Wasit enrolled in morning studies from both genders and from scientific and humanities specializations during the academic year (2025\u20132026). A stratified random sample of (500) male and female students was selected. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted the Adult Resilience Scale developed by Friborg and Martinussen (2003), based on Garmezy\u2019s theory. The scale consisted of (32) items distributed across six dimensions: self-perception, organized personal structure style, social competence, family cohesion, social support resources, and future planning. The psychometric properties of the scale were verified in terms of validity and reliability. The reliability coefficient reached (0.87) using the test\u2013retest method and (0.85) using Cronbach\u2019s Alpha, indicating that the instrument possessed good reliability. The findings revealed that university students demonstrated a high level of preparatory resilience. The arithmetic mean of the sample scores reached (54.334), which exceeded the hypothetical mean of (48), with statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05). The researcher interpreted this result in light of Garmezy\u2019s theory, which emphasizes the importance of protective factors in enhancing individuals\u2019 ability to achieve positive adaptation and cope with pressures and crises.
