style='text-align:justify; direction:ltr;'><strong>Abstract: <\/strong> This study aims to analyze the methodology of Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj in his book Sahih Muslim, and to clarify the scholarly principles he adopted in accepting narrations, arranging hadiths, collecting their chains of transmission, and carefully distinguishing between variant wordings. The study adopts an inductive, analytical, and applied approach by examining the methodological features of Sahih Muslim and comparing his method with that of other major hadith collections, especially Sahih al-Bukhari. The study concludes that Imam Muslim followed a rigorous critical methodology based on the continuity of the chain of transmission, the integrity and precision of narrators, while accepting contemporaneity and the possibility of meeting between narrators. It also highlights his distinctive practice of gathering the different narrations of a single hadith in one place, which facilitates comparison between chains and texts and reveals subtle differences in wording. The study further shows that Sahih Muslim is characterized by sound organization, limited repetition, precision in presenting narrations, and commitment to authentic hadiths, making it one of the most reliable books of the Prophetic Sunnah after the Book of Allah.
