direction:ltr;'><strong>Abstract: <\/strong> This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of educational theatre in developing sensory-motor and emotional abilities among students with disabilities, as an educational and artistic approach based on interaction, direct experience, and multisensory learning. The study stemmed from the importance of employing educational theatrical activities, such as role-playing, puppet theatre, dramatic games, and interactive stories, to support the holistic development of students with disabilities, particularly in the areas of motor coordination, sensory perception, emotional expression, self-confidence, and social interaction. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical method by reviewing relevant Arabic and international educational literature and previous studies related to educational theatre, educational drama, and theatre therapy in special education contexts. The findings revealed that educational theatre effectively contributes to the development of sensory-motor abilities through organized movement, gestures, and the integration of sensory input with physical responses. It also supports emotional development by providing a safe environment for expressing and regulating emotions, reducing anxiety, withdrawal, and negative behaviors. Furthermore, the study showed that theatrical activities promote the educational and social inclusion of students with disabilities by enhancing communication, teamwork, acceptance, and a sense of belonging within the educational environment. The study concluded that educational theatre represents a comprehensive educational and developmental tool that can be effectively employed in special education programs, provided that its activities are adapted to the type of disability and the characteristics of learners.
