This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of a Social Phobia Scale among a sample of academically gifted middle school students, given the impact of social phobia on classroom interaction and academic performance. The study employed a descriptive correlational design alongside a psychometric approach to assess the validity and reliability of the instrument. The study population consisted of gifted students in middle schools in the village of Kafr Manda. The sample included 40 male and female students selected purposively during the first semester of the 2025\/2026 academic year. The instrument used was the Social Phobia Scale developed by Rawlin and Wei (1994), which was translated into Arabic and consists of 32 items distributed across three dimensions: fear of social evaluation, interactive social anxiety, and social avoidance and withdrawal. The results indicated acceptable construct validity, with item\u2013domain and item\u2013total correlations ranging from low to high values. Two items were excluded due to a lack of statistical significance. Reliability analysis using Cronbach\u2019s alpha, Omega coefficient, split-half reliability, and the Spearman\u2013Brown formula demonstrated high reliability levels, with an overall reliability coefficient of 0.924.
