the role of strategic management in human resource development in private universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period 2020\u20132025. It examined the impact of strategic management practices, including internal and external environmental analysis, analysis of opportunities and threats, and strategic implementation, on improving human resource performance. The study was based on the problem that human resource performance in some Saudi private universities still requires further improvement and continuous development in order to meet the demands of local, regional, and international competition. The study adopted the descriptive analytical method, while also drawing on the historical method and the case study approach. A questionnaire was used as the main tool for collecting data from a random sample of 150 employees working in a number of Saudi private universities. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between the components of strategic management and human resource development. The results also showed that strategic planning, internal and external environmental analysis, analysis of opportunities and threats, and strategic implementation all contribute to improving the efficiency of human resource performance.
