direction:ltr;'><strong>Abstract: <\/strong> This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of active learning strategies in developing creative and critical thinking skills in light of contemporary educational variables, within the context of the current shift from rote-based instruction to interactive, learner-centered education. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach by reviewing recent educational literature and relevant previous studies, and by analyzing the theoretical and philosophical foundations of active learning, particularly constructivist theory, social learning theory, and the theory of multiple intelligences. It also examined the impact of digital transformation, e-learning, artificial intelligence, and interactive learning environments on the development of teaching practices. The study addressed several active learning strategies, including cooperative learning, brainstorming, problem-solving, project-based learning, and guided discussion. It demonstrated their role in developing creative thinking skills, such as fluency, flexibility, and originality, as well as critical thinking skills, including analysis, interpretation, inference, and evaluation of arguments. The findings revealed that active learning strategies effectively contribute to developing higher-order thinking skills, enhancing learners\u2019 motivation, and improving the quality of educational outcomes, provided that a supportive learning environment and qualified teachers are available. The results also showed that the successful implementation of these strategies is closely linked to curriculum development, the modernization of assessment methods, and the purposeful pedagogical use of technology.
