Abstract<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Colonialism is a common phenomenon in international relations, on the grounds that power is the driver of those relations, considering that states always seek to increase their strength in order to improve their international position in the face of other states, and therefore colonialism has acquired a special importance in the field of international relations, as it sheds light on how to exercise power at the expense of weaker peoples, and this interest is clear among the countries that exercise it, and it seems more clear in the modern era in the developing countries, the majority of which fell under the brunt of this phenomenon. In this study, I try to shed light on the French attempt to tighten their grip on Tunisia and the Far Maghreb within what is known as colonial competition and gaining areas of influence, by clarifying the circumstances of imposing French protectorate on the Tunisian countries in 1881 and then Morocco in 1912.  <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
